There have been many exciting advancements in affordable, high quality, high definition cameras and tapeless workflows in the past few years. With these swift changes, once an independent production reaches post there is often footage in a variety of formats. Additionally, many productions have editors, directors and producers working from different offices, multiple cities and sometimes in more than one country. Julia Wrona and Ailujon Films can create and manage a seamless post production workflow for even the most complicated situations.

Recently, we set up a system for four editors and one assistant combining footage from a Canon 7D, miniDV archival footage, and HDX900 footage shot to CF cards with the convergent nanoFlash. Three Avid Media Composer stations were in New York City, one was in upstate New York and one was in Abu Dhabi. All this was handled smoothly on an extremely tight deadline.
